Connecting a 13 Pin towbar wiring kit: What is +30 (steady plus) and +15?
In the automotive industry, the codes (+30) and (+15) are standard references to identify the electrical supply points in a vehicle circuit.
(+30): Indicates the 12V (nominal voltage) or 24V (nominal voltage) battery of the vehicle. Simply put, it is the positive pole of the battery – a high voltage electrical supply point on the vehicle.
(+15): Refers to the power supply that is activated when the ignition key is in the ‘run’ position, allowing power to flow to certain components of the vehicle.
