As part of our towing electrics range, we have supplied universal pre-wired 7 and 13 pin tow bar wiring kits for many years. While these products still have a place in the market, vehicle specific tow bar wiring kits are perfectly tailored for the sophisticated electrics and technology in modern vehicles. In 2019, we launched the range of Erich Jaeger tow bar wiring kits and we are now exclusive distributors in the UK of these quality products.
Only available to professional tow bar fitting centres, the kits are from German manufacturer Erich Jaeger. We have in stock 7 and 13 pin kits to suit a wide range of popular make and models, including commercial vans. The kits are easy and quick to install, and are supplied with full fitting instructions per vehicle make and model. We also have a dedicated technical support to help fitters with any questions.
On our new website, we have a number plate lookup function which states what part number you require including any additional extension kits. This is an excellent tool to let you know what kit(s) you require per vehicle. We also have available product specifications, application list and a dedicated catalogue on the website.
As well as towing electrics it will be good to bear in mind that caravan site essentials will also be good lines to stock and promote. Maypole offer a full range of caravan site electrics from mobile mains power units, site connectors and plugs to NCC compliant site extension leads. These are products that can easily get lost or left behind after the last trip away and so are replaced quite often.
Our range of towing mirrors are not just essential caravan accessories but a legal requirement. To comply with the law, anyone towing a caravan must be able to see 20 metres behind them and four metres either side of the towed outfit. In order to meet this requirement, almost all vehicles will need towing mirrors.
Our towing mirrors are suitable for a wide variety of cars and 4×4’s. We have upgraded our popular towing mirror MP8323 to include new clamp fittings, making them more secure and will fit to a wider range of vehicle wing mirror shapes and sizes. The range also includes MP8326, a deluxe dual glass extension mirror and ideal for most large, deep and curved vehicle mirrors such as a Vauxhall Insignia.
